HögforsSahala is a new company that was born through a merger between Sahala Works’ in Varkaus and Högfors’ Heinola plant in late 2007.
With the traditions, culture and mechanical engineering industry experience of our Varkaus and Heinola plants, the roots of our new company stem from the 19th century.

Our key customers consist of the energy industry including nuclear power plants, the pulp and paper industry, as well as the chemical and petrochemical industries.
The company employs 215 professionals and its turnover amounted to about 35 million euros in 2007. More than 50% of this was covered by exports. |
